The other day I picked up this "cat toy" for Gina. I usually shy away from purchasing toys for her because apart from her crinkle balls, she seems to prefer a box or a paper bag to a cat toy. However, this toy looked too good to pass up!

What I did not anticipate is how much the dogs would get a kick out of it.

And Gina really enjoyed...the packaging. Go figure.

Actually, I think Norman's interest lured Gina to the toy and she ended up enjoying it too!

I hope they don't tire of it because I could seriously get rid of my TV if they are going to be so entertaining all them time!

Do you cat dog combo houses have any shared toys? My former foster kitty, Marty, loved the dogs' rope toy(that they ignored).

I've always been a fan of horse racing and often notice their tongues tied down to keep it in place when they run at top speeds, sometimes causing it to flop out the side of their mouth.

Often when Kaya is running around with a ball in her mouth, she has her tongue hanging out the other side. It always reminds me of the racehorses and I call it her racehorse face. Not to mention the fact that she always runs at top speed too.

Do your dogs ever remind you of another animal?

Kaya has an adorable black Snoopy nose. But when she was a puppy, she had a curl of white along one side. I always thought it looked like a doggy nose ring.

Sadly, she grew out of it after just a couple months.

Did your dog's markings change over time?
